PCBA testing mainly includes five test contents: ICT test, FCT test, aging test, fatigue test, and harsh environment test. Each test strictly controls the final quality of the product. The following Sanjing will introduce you in turn:

 

① ICT test: Mainly include circuit continuity, voltage and current value, fluctuation curve, amplitude, noise, etc.

 

②FCT test: IC program firing is required to simulate the function of the entire PCBA board, find the problems in the hardware and software, and be equipped with necessary patch processing production fixtures and test racks.

 

 

③Aging test: It is mainly to energize the PCBA board and electronic products for a long time, keep them working and observe whether there are any failures. After the aging test, the electronic products can be sold in batches.

 

④Fatigue test: Take samples of PCBA boards and perform high-frequency and long-term operation of their functions to observe whether failures occur and determine the probability of failures in the test, so as to feed back the working performance of PCBA boards in electronic products.

 

⑤Test under harsh environment: Mainly expose the PCBA board to extreme temperature, humidity, drop, splashing, and vibration, and obtain the test results of random samples, so as to infer the reliability of the entire PCBA board batch product.

 

The PCBA process is complicated. In the production and processing process, various problems may sometimes occur due to improper operation of the equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to pass the PCBA test to ensure that the product quality will not be problematic.

 

The general PCBA test is mainly divided into manual test and instrument equipment test (automatic optical inspection). Manual testing is to directly rely on vision to test and judge whether the component placement on the PCB is wrong or not. This technology is widely used. However, when the components are small and the number of tests is too large, this test method is not suitable, and there are some functional defects that are not easy to detect, and the data is not easy to collect, so more professional test methods are needed.

 

Automatic optical inspection (AOI) is also called automatic visual inspection. It is inspected by a special detector before and after reflow soldering. Although the polarity inspection effect of components is better, it is easy to follow the diagnosis, but the short circuit recognition is poor.

 

It can be seen that PCBA testing is not just a single one, it requires a combination of multiple testing methods to ultimately ensure product quality.
