Generally speaking, after the PCBA assembly process is completed, the PCBA panels need to be separated. Because some PCB boards are small in size, they are usually made into the form of paneling. However, pay special attention when splitting the board. If you are not careful, it is easy to damage the intact PCBA board. There are two ways to split the board: one is manual splitting; the other is machine splitting. There are different ways of dividing the board, and the matters needing attention are also different. (1) Manual sub-board

When folding the edge of the board, you must hold the lower edge of the PCBA board with both hands, try to avoid bending deformation, PCBA electrical circuits and parts, and tin channel damage.

(2) Machine sub-board

①Stable support point: If there is no support during the splitting period, the stress generated by the assembly may damage the substrate and the solder joints, and may also distort the board, thereby causing hidden or obvious defects.

②Wear protective tools: Before operating, be sure to make protective preparations, such as wearing protective glasses to protect your eyes from harm, or installing high-frequency eye-protection lighting devices.

③Keep the splitting machine clean: wipe the machine spindle and cutters with alcohol frequently to remove the PCB dust generated during the splitting process and keep the splitting machine running normally.

④Machine maintenance: After the machine has been working and running for a certain number of times, lubricate the sliding rods and bearings of the splitter with lubricating oil, and check whether the screws are loose.

⑤Working surface requirements: During the operation of the machine, the working surface should be kept clean and tidy. It is best not to place other objects to avoid falling objects and damage to tools and objects. At the same time, keep a safe distance between fingers and tools.
